Michigan Spring Fruits
Michigan’s fruit season is famously abundant—but in spring, it starts slow and sweet. Much of the state’s fruit comes from orchards and farms along the Lake Michigan shoreline, where cool breezes and fertile soil make for ideal growing conditions. Spring fruits begin to show up in late May, building anticipation for the full summer bounty ahead.
